The Role

The IT Technician will play a key role in supporting and maintaining ITSCREDIT's IT infrastructure.

This professional will ensure that our systems and networks operate efficiently and securely, allowing our teams to focus on creating the best digital credit solutions on the market.

 

Key Responsabilities

 

User Support: Provide first-line technical support to company employees, resolving hardware, software, network, and other IT system issues both on-site and remotely.
IT Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers (Windows and Linux), printers, and other peripherals.
Network Administration: Support the management and monitoring of the local network (LAN/WAN), including switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points, ensuring performance and security.
Software and License Management: Ensure proper installation, updating, and licensing of the company’s software, including operating systems and productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365).
Information Security: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security policies, including antivirus, firewalls, backups, and user awareness training.
Inventory Management: Keep an up-to-date inventory of all company hardware and software.
Account and Access Management: Create and manage user accounts and access permissions across the company’s systems and platforms.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Vendor Collaboration: Interact with hardware, software, and IT service providers for procurement, support, and issue resolution.

Education and Experience

Academic background in Information Technology or a related field.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (desktop and server) and familiarity with Linux environments.
Basic knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Knowledge of virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Academic or professional experience with ticketing tools and remote support.
Basic understanding of IT security (antivirus, firewalls, backups).
Familiarity with cloud service administration, such as Microsoft Azure, is an asset.
Proactivity and eagerness to learn.

Nice to Have

 

Familiarity with cloud service administration, such as Microsoft Azure.
Interest in Cybersecurity.

Language and Certifications

 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English.
Must be located in commutable distance to Porto, Portugal, the European Union.
Candidates must be eligible for an IEFP internship at bachelor’s degree level.
