The Role

As a Junior Developer, you will actively participate in the full software development lifecycle.

You will have the opportunity to work side by side with experienced developers, contributing with your ideas and code to the evolution of our digital credit platform, used by renowned financial institutions..

 

Key Responsabilities

 

Collaborate with the team in the development and maintenance of web applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following best practices.
Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, and implementation of new features.
Support the identification and correction of bugs, as well as performance optimization.
Actively engage in intern and extern team events (sprints, stand-ups, etc.).
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Education and Experience

Higher education in Computer Science or related fields. Candidates must be in the final years of their degree or recent graduates in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics and Computing, or similar.
Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Knowledge of web development, demonstrable through academic or personal projects.

Nice to Have

 

Knowledge of .NET / .NET Core.
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Knowledge of Python.

Language and Certifications

 

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English.
Candidates must be eligible for an IEFP internship at bachelor’s degree level.
Must be located in commutable distance to Porto, Portugal, the European Union.
